Abstract Cold-formed steel members with perforations have been commonly applied to meet the demands for technical installations. The design of perforated was regulated in Specification AISI S100-16 using Direct Strength Method (DSM). This method is based on elastic buckling analyses predict capacities cold-formed members. determination loads compulsory application DSM and has presented Specification. specification regulations are only symmetrical evenly spaced holes. paper, therefore, investigates effects unsymmetrical, unevenly eccentric holes global channel finite element analyses. effect web comparison those gross section also investigated.
